2ND REVIEW. 1ST REVIEW IS HERE.
Valentine’s evil plans for the Clave, Shadowhunters, and Downworlders are almost complete. Only Clary can wake her mother up and join all the forces together as allies against Valentine and his plans.
Despite the fact that this book and series is pretty average for this type of genre, it wraps up pretty nicely in this book. The plot of the series becomes a little bit better and more detailed. So, it is not as boring as the first one, but you have to have patience to read the extra 100 pages. Also, you start seeing more of a relationship between Magnus and Alec. To those of you who don’t approve of boy x boy relationships, I don’t care. ^^ Oh, spoiler, my favorite part is when Magnus and Alec kiss, and Maia goes, “Do we have to do that, too?”
Anyways, there are going to be more books in this series, and I think I would like this series more if it would have just ended where it did. :( Though, I would like to see more character growths in Jace and Clary in the future upcoming books in this series.
Overall, the book is pretty average, so read at your own risk. I’m still going to read the rest of the series, as long as my library has them, because once I start a series, I really can’t stop myself from reading the rest.
