2ND REVIEW. 1ST REVIEW IS HERE.

Cole is a hemovore, or what we call vampires, but don’t call them that to their faces. When Cole gets to New York, he is asked to train a newly created heme about the responsibilities of being a heme. He really doesn’t want to train Gordon the Accident, who is still attached to his human family, the ropes. And accidents can happen; no matter how much you plan.

I already read this book once, and it is still as enjoyable and creative as the first time I read it. The plot is different compared to other vampire books, and the author tries to put a new image on vampires, which actually works out nicely. Some other things I liked were the descriptions and characters. Gordon seems to resemble the little brother, while Cole is the big brother, and Sandor is the comic relief friend. And you actually can image the interaction between the characters. Also, some of the parts were so funny, I had to smile or laugh. Another thing I enjoyed was the lack of romance. Don’t get me wrong, I like romance, especially with smutty scenes, but there are already too many vampire books with romance in it. ^^; So, this book gave me a nice change of pace.

I was so satisfied and enjoyed the books so much that I finished this book within a day. Despite the fact ending might seem like a cliffhanger to some people, I like how you can imagine what happens in the end. :)

Anyways, this book is a very good, and original, vampire young adult book. I would read it again, if I didn’t already have some many other books to read. :D

When Johnny calls Cole to New York for a mission, he doesn’t know what to expect. Johnny gives him the mission of training a newly made heme, Gordon, on the road. Cole is well known in the heme community for being an observant and controlled master of life on the road. Though, with training a new heme, his experience and caution may not be enough to get the mission accomplished since accidents can still happen, no matter how experienced he is.

Yay. :) Finally another vampire book. :P

This vampire book is totally different for all the other vampire books I have read, which is good. :) In Night Road, the author makes them hemovores, instead of vampires, which is very different from what I’m used to and is a very original theme and plot for a vampire book.  Also, the author gives them a more human-like aura, instead of making them unholy monsters that most authors make them out to be. However, she doesn’t stray too far off of the original vampire legends — still can’t go out into sunlight and drinks blood — thought it adds a few more things that I don’t want to list to make the book seem different from all the other vampire books and has some action. :)

This book is a very good book to read, very original with the vampire theme. :P
