2ND REVIEW. 1ST REVIEW IS HERE.
When Jane’s best friend Allison sells her soul to the devil, she sacrifices her own soul to save her friend. But to make matters worse, she falls in love with a boy who is 116 years old, and she has to keep from being expelled from school.
When I first read this book, I really liked it. However, now, I’m not as impressed as I was then. The book is kind of normal for this type of genre. The friend, who doesn’t enough self-confidence, sells their soul. Then their friend has to save them, and then that friend meets a boy they most likely shouldn’t fall in love with. So, sort of common, but still kind of enjoyable with the slight romantic moments between Owen and Jane.
Not only is the plot very common within the supernatural genre, the book wasn’t long enough and didn’t have enough descriptions to keep my attention for a re-reading. Unlike the first time I read it, I didn’t find the suspense in it, despite only reading it only two years ago. I also wish there were a more definite ending to this book – especially between Owen and Jane. :(
Overall, I found the book incomplete, full of plot holes, not enough descriptions, and the characters too typical. So, I wouldn’t read it more than once. :(
