3 out of 5

After Destiny and Livvy Weller, twin sisters, spent a summer at Camp Blue Moon, they come back home with vampire-like symptoms. Now, they must find the Restorer, so that they can change back into mortal teenage girls again. However, who is the Restorer, and will they find him before the hunters or the vampire that changed them into vampires finds them first? While Destiny desperately tries to find the Restorer, Livvy becomes power-hungry. If Destiny regains her human life, will she be forced to say good-bye to her sister forever?

Even though it’s a pretty short book, it’s still kind of good. Though, I would have wished for more in this book, instead of making it into series. The characters and events could have had more depth and details to them, which would have made the book much longer and fulfilling, but oh well. The book is a little fast paced for me since I read in like 6-7 hours. Also, the ending felt both a little rushed and satisfying (oddly).

If I ever get my hands on the sequel, I’ll read it and make a review of it also.

Update: I bought the combination of this book with the sequel, so I’ll try to read it later.
